Financial Counseling:
Many trainees have a limited income and sometimes additional financial constraints such as educational loan debt and house hold expenses. Making sure that you’re financially secure in your day-to-day activities and prepared for unexpected events is an important part of maintaining and ensuring financial wellness. UK supports trainee financial health through providing appointments with a financial counselor. Financial counseling is a free and voluntary service available to all UK employees including GME residents and fellows. Trainees can schedule up to five sessions per year to meet with Financial Well-Being Officer Todd M. Macaulay, CFP, AIF. Todd can be contacted at: todd.macaulay@uky.edu | Phone: (859)218-1589 | Additional information can be found on our Benefits website as well: http://www.uky.edu/hr/benefits/financial-well-being/financial-counseling
